• Brainstorm and product design.
CHALLENGE
Over 65% of the elderly prefer food therapy but not seeing the doctor. However, they always have trouble cooking their own food therapy.
In China, many elderly individuals gravitate towards traditional Chinese food therapy as a preferred method of maintaining health and treating illnesses, rather than routinely seeing a doctor or consuming various medications. Despite their inclination towards this ancient practice, they often encounter challenges:
• Selecting the appropriate recipes, procuring and preparing the ingredients, and monitoring the exact cooking duration and temperature can be daunting and overwhelming for them.
• Memory lapses often result in them forgetting their current cooking tasks or misjudging the time left for cooking.
Addressing these challenges is paramount to ensuring that they can harness the full benefits of traditional Chinese food therapy.

How can design be leveraged to simplify the cooking process for the elderly, enhancing their experience and facilitating easier learning?
ERGONOMIC ANALYSIS
TOP VIEW OPERATION ERGONOMIC
• Table depth 600mm, after average body sampling analysis, before 300mm distance is the most comfortable
SIZE ANALYSIS
After ergonomic calculation and derivation experiment, the above dimensions from the storage, occupying area, operation comfort, table fit can be satisfied. On this basis to establish product modeling
